1. Data We Collect

We collect profile information when you register, including your full name, email address, city, state, and zip code. Candidates also submit campaign portfolios, DOB details, professional portraits, and resume PDFs. Voters submit questions, suggestions, or critique comments.

Critical Limit: We do not collect, store, or process Social Security Numbers (SSN), driver's license numbers, identity documentation, or precise GPS coordinates.

2. Purpose of Collection

Your location data (city, state, zip) is collected to auto-filter and sort political candidates running in your area. Your contact information is used solely for session login, account verification, and transactional billing notifications.

3. Security and Storage

All platform data is stored securely in PostgreSQL databases on Supabase and is encrypted at rest. Payment card details are never processed or saved on our servers; all transaction sequences are handled securely by Stripe.

4. No Data Sharing or Selling

Voter profile details, emails, and location indices are never sold, rented, or shared with candidates, campaign committees, advertising firms, or other third-party businesses.

5. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Deletion Rights

All registered users have the right to request permanent deletion of their account profile. You can trigger this automatically from your Profile Settings dashboard. This will permanently remove your account, campaigns, comments, locations, and media files from the database. Stripe billing transaction records are preserved as required by legal regulations.

6. Cookies

We use secure session cookies solely to preserve user login status. We do not use third-party tracking, profiling, or target advertisement cookies.
